1961 Volvo Amazon

This is the replica of a Volvo Amazon, a car produced by the Volvo group betweeen 1957 and 1970. It become a big success for Volvo, because this car had a great acceptation in Europe and North America. I've made two versions of the car, the first is a cabriolet. This version wasn't produced by Volvo, it was handmade by owners of all kind of Amzon's bodies: coupe or sedan. The second version is a more standard coupe, with its characteristic shape and two-tone paint.

Rear view, with the bonnet opened. The Amazon was the last curved Volvo until the 90's.

Detailed engine, very difficult to do it on a 6-wide Lego car.

Front view. That was the trickiest part of all the whole car.

Side view. The white hood gives an elegant touch to the car.

Rear view,  with the boot lid closed.

 And now opened!

Comfortable white leather seats.

A simpe white dashboard, just as in the real model was.

The other version, the coupe!

Another view of the coupe version, which makes the car looking more as a 50's one.

Old Spanish cars: SEAT 600, 1400 and 1400C

Models of SEAT's cars that I've made a long time ago. Those cars were very popular in the 60s-70s  because they were a cheaper alternative to the imported cars, cause of the big taxes which were applied in old cars in this years. All of them are 6-wide.

From left to right: SEAT 600, SEAT 1400 and SEAT 1400C

A pair of artistic photos
In the center: SEAT 1400C, an early model of the more popular SEAT 1500

SEAT 1400: the first car that SEAT produced

SEAT 600: one of the most popular cars produced by SEAT, it was produced under license of FIAT. Almost 800.000 were produced from 1957 to 1973.

Set 7993 modifications

This is my last LEGO creation, a modification to the 7993 set. Notice that I only added some parts like the roof of the public phone, the garage's floor and the yellow barrier, The other parts are from the original sets.

An overall view.

Another view with some minifigs on it, and a black car. What's that car...

A foldable barrier in yellow, and a red floor.
It has got two floors.

A modern-style front.

A London-style public phone, and a woman getting out of it.

The car it's a black Renault 9 (It will be posted soon...)

VW Golf IV cabriolet

This is the model I've made of the VW Golf IV cabriolet. It's 12 studs wide. All opens, and the soft top can be folded. It has got a steering mechanism. Front seats can fold to allow people to sit in the rear.

Trunk opens like in the real one.

A rear view of the car.
All open.

Soft top opened.
And now closed!
A closer view of the dashboard showing the steering wheel, the seats with blue upholstery and the Tiptronic automatic gearbox, a type of gearbox which was available in VW and Audi.

Microscale ferry Tenacia

Hello everyone, I've made a model of the ferry Tenacia. I've build all the ferry in red bricks because I haven't got enough white bricks.

Under the red hull there's a blue hull from the set 7287. It measures about 60cm and it can carry a lot of trucks. It has got two ramps, with three car lanes and one passenger lane.

As you can see in the next photos, the boat is able to float because the blue police set hull is enough big to make all the ferry floating.

You can check some photos of the real thing here .
